Wood Finish & Stain Colors

The finish is where the character of the wood comes alive. Explore professional color options from Old Masters, Rubio Monocoat, Bona, General Finishes, and Varathane.

These charts use actual sample photography supplied on the manufacturers' official websites. Colors can still change with wood species, grain, sanding, lighting, screen settings, and topcoat. Final approval should always be based on a physical sample made on the same wood species as your piece.

How Color Approval Works

1. Choose the color family you like. 2. Tell us the wood species and desired undertone. 3. We narrow the options and prepare a physical sample when appropriate. 4. You approve the sample before final finishing.

If you are matching floors, cabinetry, or another piece, send us photos in natural daylight and, whenever possible, an actual sample.

Ready to Choose Your Finish?

Send us your project details, inspiration photos, wood species, and favorite color direction. We will help narrow it down to the finish that best fits the piece and your space.
