Hey everyone! I thought it would be fun to give you a behind-the-

scenes look at how my personal strengths shape the work we do at Native Rift. According to the CliftonStrengths assessment, my top strengths are Context, Futuristic, Strategic, Belief, and Significance, and they really do influence every part of my craft.

Let’s start with Context. This strength is all about appreciating the backstory of things. For me, that means every piece I create is rooted in an understanding of its materials and techniques. I love knowing the history behind the wood I use and the traditions of woodworking. It’s not just about building a shelf or a mantel; it’s about connecting that piece to a legacy of craftsmanship and sharing that story with you.

Then there’s Futuristic. This strength keeps me dreaming about what’s next for Native Rift. I’m always looking ahead, imagining new designs, and thinking about how we can evolve our craft. Whether it’s experimenting with new finishes or exploring new product lines, that forward-looking vision keeps things exciting.

My Strategic strength helps me find the best path to bring those ideas to life. I’m always figuring out the smartest way to get from concept to finished piece. And Belief is my anchor—it’s that core set of values that drives me to put quality and care into everything I do. I want every piece to stand for something, to be meaningful in your home.

Finally, Significance is what ties it all together. It’s the drive to make a real impact. I want Native Rift to be more than just a business—I want it to be a place where craftsmanship and personal vision come together to create something special.

So every mantel and shelf that leaves my shop is a reflection of these strengths in action. It’s not just about the final product; it’s about the journey and the meaning behind it. Thanks for being part of that journey with me!
